You and the Total Solar Eclipse

Are any of you traveling to be better able to experience the total eclipse on Monday? Where I live is right in viewing central so people are coming here. There are lots of events planned around the community for this special day. I get to stay home. It depends on the weather whether I will go outside or not. I have enjoyed seeing a partial eclipse in the past. Getting photos, especially of the sidewalk with the sun crescents all over where they appeared under the trees are really cool. I don't know if there will be any interesting things appearing on the sidewalks with a total eclipse. The other day I was listening to Carly Simon's You're So Vain and she mentioned in the song about the guy flying his Lear jet up to Nova Scotia to see the total eclipse of the sun. That song came out in the 70s but I am not sure there were any total eclipses visible in the US and Canada back then. Poetic license. What are your plans for Eclipse Day?

No special plans for Eclipse Day. We are in the path of totality.

Will you go outside to watch? I am not sure yet if I will or not. the part of the grounds here where it would have the best view is a bit far for me to go without my dog helping pull my wheelchair. (I use it for longer walks.) People are saying pets should be kept inside during the eclipse. I might be able to watch out my living room window, however. Or I might be taking a nap. LOL

@capirani I may watch it on TV. I can't walk far or stand for any length of time.
