It's been a nice day today so far. George got up a little bit before ten A.M. So more around his usual time. We got his peg tube done, including some cleaning. It's red and irriated, and he doesn't seem to notice. I'll have to work on cleaning him up so that I can deal with that redness. Still trying to convince him to take a shower, but I have alternitives I can use to help with this.
Right now he's hanging out outside, enjoying the sun and uncuessfully trying to call out to the neighbor who was mowing his lawn. I'm glad he's happy.
Today is Sunday so I'll get my hair washed and George will have his race.

I would rather be annoyed by races and have him asking about schedules. Then him in a hospital bed.

I can. I just have to clean it and put moostiure on it. His skin is real dry around his stoma. If he didn't have drainage, I'd leave it open to air. But he moves a lot, so I have a catch-22 on my hands.

Good he isn't complaining about the skin irritation but yes, it's better to take care of that. Why doesn't he want to take a shower? Glad you're both doing well anyway.

I honestly can't read his mind. However, he might find it hard to get in and out of the tub. I don't know. I can't pick him up and force him. I can only nag at him.

I am glad George is getting to soak up the sunshine, My morning began with Freddie climbing off of me so I could get up and then Tish greeting me from the litter box, Other than that have been writing online all day, I hope you, George, and Chilly have a good evening and a nice start to the new week, Perhaps this can help you with the irritation

I bought some six inch cue tips to clean under the bumper. I know what's recommended to use to clean the skin, too. Getting him to let me, is the fun part.
