Are the IPL matches fixed from before?

In IPL cricket in India generally audiences fear the matches are fixed from beginning. Chennai has won the trophy 5 times. This time semi final finals are kept in Chennai. There is huge uproar for Dhoni in many stadiums where he scores just a boundary in 1 ball. The century hitters like Buttler or Kohli or Rohit Sharma are not getting any cheer. There is a deliberate issue created between Hardik pandya and Rohit sharma for Mumbai to create attention.

Haven't watched cricket in forever but i have heard about match-fixing allegations.

thanks Allen there are around 10 teams who play the IPL. But some fixing is done in such a way that either Chennai or Mumbai win it. Both of them won the tournament 5 times.
