What's in store for the future on my yard

I hope every 1 is having a great week so far & all is going to plan I have a lot to do in & out doors to either finish what I started or to start what I've been wanting to get done, B-4 I got sick & crashed. I've been watching a lot of Vids on how I want to make my front & back yard with some kind of flower arrangement that looks good where every time I go outside it catch's my attention to gaze at it. I have a FEW ideas but nothing is really grabbing my attention to stick with, but the 1st thing to think about is how to keep the weeds out & keep the garden weed free, where I don't have to pull weeds. Do you have any good ideas for what to put in a full sun garden that will look good & keep critters like mice snakes & bug away? I love small bush's & colorful flowers that bloom every year. I haven't ever gotten the chance to do a full garden where I am & I found this video & would like to know your thoughts on it if you have ever used it or know anything about it for me to use.

The people here plant marigolds to keep the critters away from their plants. That's all I know.

@2ndchances24 One thing you can't get away from no matter what is weeding. It comes with gardening.

Yea I was wondering if it would keep the mice away as well cause I can't just treat 1 pen without doing all 3 at 1 time I was thinking about getting some kind of fogger to do all the pens at once for like a full weekend.

My vegetable garden is small and raised, so it’s easy pick weeds. I use specific weed killers before I plant my flowers and am careful around perennials. Good luck. There’s nothing prettier than beautiful flowers and landscaping.

Thank You, I don't have the back for doing a veg garden that's why I'm going to do a weed less low maintenance flower 1 & that's going to take everything I have to get it done.
