Due to climate change seasonal fruits are coming later

In Calcutta during summer mangoes come in the market in late April. This year there has been severe heat. While the raw mangoes are available in the market used for making chutney or pickle, the ripe ones are yet to come. May be in the month of June they will arrive in the market.

Actually, mango crop is poor this year. In our backyard there are many mango trees but only one has fruits on it.

I though when the weather is hot, the mangoes should ripe sooner. lol
