Young Sheldon tonight had the death of the patriarch George Cooper Sr. Sheldon's dad. They didn't show anything other than his boss and another of the coaching staff coming to the door. The women were crying and hugging. Sheldon sat speechless in a chair. I really liked that character George Sr.. He was my fave on the show. It ends now, and their is a spin off with Georgie and Mandy. Not crazy about those characters..but her dad is funny like George Cooper Sr.Did you watch Young Sheldon ever?

Oh! That's tragic. I have not watched the recent episode. I watched the last one where Sheldon is being fished by different universities. I am a big fan of Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon. Having watched Big Bang Theory, we knew that he lost his father at young age of 14. But it would be emotional to see it despite knowing that it happened. George Sr.is so cool and funny. I love that character.

@arunima25 They have the spin off series with Georgie and Mandy coming. I think there is a series finale next week if YS The kids were so little when it first started

No, but I know people that enjoy the show. There are series I used to watch all the time but haven't in several years, like Grey's anatomy and Virgin River. Recently I've been watching some BBC criminal series. The first was New Tricks, and now I'm watching Silent Witness. New tricks was about retired cops looking at could cases and the current one is about forensic pathologists who check out the crime scene and help solve murders.

@snowy22315 I've liked them. I watched a different one initially but after a couple of weeks I felt they were repetitive so I looked for something else. I like listening to their accents.

@MarshaMusselman The Brits do good cop shows and mysteries.

I like that show, it is cute, but it sounds like a tear-jerker way to end the series.

Yes, I think they are going to tie up some loose ends next week. Last night was quite sad.

It was a cute show. Some episodes were better than others though. You just wanted to smack Sheldon the clueless boy genius sometimes, as well as his overly pious mother.
