(I have decided to share randomness that I learn a long the way of discovering more of my family history. I actually have known about this particular Mr. Walke for awhile, because he isn't as far back as some. But I've always liked his name. Very old school.....and now to our regularly scheduled programming)
The man in this very stern picture is my second great grandfather. My maternal grandfather's mother's father.
He was born on November 29th, 1885 in Greensburg, Indiana. He had one daughter named Clara who was born in 1918. He never got to see his daughter grow up because he died fifteen days short of his thirty fourth birthday in 1919.
For that time period it isn't a shock that his life didn't last as long as they tend to now. I have yet to find any information on how he died. But since a lot of my ancestors during those years were farmers, I have a feeling that he might of died in some sort of farm accident. I will update ya'all if I find out anything different.

I didn't keep the info. I mean I knew this one from research when I did the project in high school. But the internet has all information that anyone could ever want.
