I'm hearing COVID again...

COVID-19 is making headlines again. I saw it on the news last night and heard a radio update today about a new variant and an increase in cases. The government is urging everyone to wear masks, avoid crowded places, and keep hands clean. Hospitals are getting busier, too. I guess COVID-19 is really here to stay, much like the flu and we just have to live with it.
I still wear mask anyway and follow basic safety measures. It has become second nature to me now, and I used to wear mask outside even before the pandemic because of my reactive airways and allergies.
How are things where you are? Are you still hearing much about COVID-19?
Where ever you are, just take care out there and be safe!

Its kind of annoying and people are not even thinking about getting vaccinated again because they know the lies and propaganda behind them.

Yeah, it feels like people are really over it. The constant mixed messages haven't helped either.

@ogbenishyna I have heard that. I know some people who have new heart problems after getting the shot. They say it is a coincidence but I don't believe much of what they say anymore.

Keeping things clean is always a good idea. I get how the constant boosters can feel overwhelming.

It never really went away. It's good to stay updated and be cautious, especially if cases rise.

I'm always hearing about it as I'm around the medical field. As for taking extra precautions right now, no we're not. It is definitely here to stay and is something that we have to live with but I said that when it came out in the first place.

Makes sense, especially being in the medical field. It seems like it's just part of life now.

@pitsipeahie Most diseases or illnesses are. Even the ones they claim to have been cured, they're not.

I don't know where you live, but I haven't heard anything about COVID-19 in recent weeks.

It seems like the conversation is different depending on where you are.

@pitsipeahie Yes, that's probably right. I hope it doesn't come over here again!
