A lot of people have seen me eating bitter gourd with some eggs lately.
I always told them that I really love eating bitter gourd, and that I really don't find them that bitter.
Most of them give me that face of disgust. The thought of the bitterness that a bitter gourd can give really made them want to throw up.
I really do love eating them especially with eggs. I really don't care what they think. Their faces just keep on making me laugh.

Well, I'm not a fan of bitter gourd, but I won't look at you in disgust if I see you eating it. I guess the bitterness has something to do with how it was prepared. Maybe whoever cooks your food, whether it's a member of your family or yourself, knows how to prepare it in such a way as to remove the bitterness.
My mother would always say, when I ask if the bitter gourd she cooked is bitter or not, she would say it's not bitter. But when I taste it, it is bitter.

However, there was this time when I had to work in the province for a while, I was served bitter gourd for meals at work and lo and behold it was not bitter at all. So I ate that as much as possible when I was there, because you know it's healthy and all.
So I've become always skeptical about it.

In any case, I've grown to be ok with some bitterness as the time went by.

I have also tried bitter gourd and eggs, although I don't like bitter gourd. Don't worry about the opinions of others, just enjoy your delicious food silently
