In bengal the banana trees are very huge useful trees. They bring a lot of revenue. The bengalies use the bananas both in ripe and raw form. For us here, raw bananas are being cooked. It can be with sugar or not. The ripe ones are eaten like any other fruit or be used for fruit salad and alike. Its leaves can be used to wrap any food, and its heart can be cooked in stew or just fried.
