Hello, all! It's 8:50 a.m. by my computer clock, and I need to get breakfast and coffee. Afterward, I need to go and get money orders at the bank so that I can pay my rent.
My computer thermometer says 59 degrees F at the moment, but it's likely to get higher.

Gee, down here in Atascadero CA at 9:40 a.m. today we're already at 59 degrees, so it's guaranteed to get hotter. I just fed my outside cats and sat down to take a quick rest before I shower and "hobble" up to the thrift store for the first Saturday of the month 60% off sale. Then I'll go get the money orders for the rent, power and gas bills. I'm not doing too much since I sliced my finger open with a canned tuna fish can.
That was hysterical!!! Last Friday (the 25th) I decided to treat my "babies" AKA the brats to their favorite treat, canned tuna fish. The stuff I get (COTS...Chicken of the Sea) comes in a can you need to open with a can opener. The way the can is sealed the lid doesn't always cut all the way open, even if you run the can opener around the can three or four times, so you end up prying the can open. I had a feeling that if I pried the can open it would cut my finger. I was so right. The middle knuckle on my right index finger was cut to the bone!!!! I bled through 6 paper towels and had to make a trip to the accute care place across the street (and bleed there too!!!) They got the bleeding stopped and glued the finger shut (the doctor decided that stitches weren't too smart because I'm kind of hyper active!). Three coats of glue and a splint later (and a tetanus shot) later I got to go home. I also felt like a prime idiot!!! The instructions also stated NOT to open any tuna fish cans for a while.
So, I have been sitting around a lot with Petey adding extra warmth to my lap. Well he also have had the wet farts, which means that I have had to change clothes at least twice a day during the week. So I'm going shopping for extra shorts etc. Plus it's my fun for the day. So off to get hot from the weather and to have some fun. Enjoy the day and do something cooling for yourself! And don't open any tuna fish cans that need to be opened with a can opener!!!
So, I have been sitting around a lot with Petey adding extra warmth to my lap. Well he also have had the wet farts, which means that I have had to change clothes at least twice a day during the week. So I'm going shopping for extra shorts etc. Plus it's my fun for the day. So off to get hot from the weather and to have some fun. Enjoy the day and do something cooling for yourself!
