Making spaghetti for dinner

We're starting to get settled here in the bigger apartment. There's still lots to pack from the old provincial house and from the smaller city apartment, but we've at least already gathered most of the essentials here. Our wifi account's been transferred here too. Not a joke to be moving out of two houses at the same time and having to sort documents and keep/discard loads of household items.
Please, I hope we wouldn't have to do this again!
Heat wave and all.
The girls and I spend most of the day in this bigger unit but still sleep in the small apartment while my husband is away for some work assignment. He'll be back on Wednesday and will have to fly again after a day for another speaking engagement. My college best friend and her mom might come over here tomorrow and spend the night. I'm excited to have some long conversations with an old friend.
I've been productive in many ways but have been feeling sluggish too because it's that time of the month. I'm just thankful that we're in a cozier apartment now and have so much space to move around. We've got three A/Cs here and plenty of windows that allow natural air and light to come in.
I'm making spaghetti for dinner tonight. I'm trying to clear the fridge of raw meats and perishable stuff before we leave for our US vacation next week.
I'll probably share some spaghetti with the lobby guards here if I ever end up with so much spaghetti.
I hope you guys are keeping busy or at least keeping well.

Shifting, moving out of two houses, some one visiting, settling down and then a travel in the next week...you definitely have a lot to keep you busy. And that time of month can be annoying. Catch up with the rest too when you can.

It's what I call crazy busy. I can't wait to REALLY slow down, settle and breathe. I lie down in bed in between chores so I won't get too tired. Getting in and out of the apartments makes me tired because the elevators are so hot and it's humid most of the day. I know the temps are worse in India. I hope this heatwave ends soon.

@almostoveryou That does sound busy and tiring. Good that you are taking some rest in between.
Our city is having a pleasant weather. But yes, heatwaves in other parts of country is terrible.

It can be overwhelming. I think we'll start packing day. I don't want to rush the packing over the weekend and fly by Monday.

Shifting houses need good planning. Sometimes even with excellent plans, some abrupt thing would spring up to add to the spoil. Glad things worked out for you. Enjoy the time!

You are so correct. I always have to make lists so I don't forget things. It's tiring to commute here and there, especially since the provincial house is about 2 hours away by car. So I try to make sure that I've got most things covered.
Thanks. I'll enjoy whatever I can enjoy at the moment. Have a good day/night!
