Done with breakfast and morning pages

Had a restful sleep last night, thank God. I thought I was going to be tossing and turning because I'm sleeping without the husband for the first time in a new room (in a new apartment) and on our wedding anniversary. So many changes to process lately. I've been writing in my journals with a furious pen and just purging and sifting big and small thoughts and emotions. I did my usual morning pages after breakfast today. I want to write some more so I can put my mind in order. Journaling helps me restore that proper headspace, especially when I need to deal with things that are too uncomfortable or too unfamiliar. Anyway, I'll have to attend to other matters now. See you later, myLot friends.

Thank you for sympathizing with me. It's always tough when the husband is away and there's no other adult to converse with for some days. Thank God, he'll be heading home later this afternoon and will arrive here shortly before midnight.

I'm sorry you had to spend your anniversary alone. My husband has been gone since February 1. It's really hard.

@almostoveryou It's hard. I'm forced to handle a lot of things that he normally would do. I can't wait until he comes home.

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that. I can't imagine being away from my husband for that long. How do you cope?

Unfortunately, your husband was not with you on the anniversary, but as long as your marriage feels happy,

I was snapping at him when he came back for some reason. But we're happy together most days.
