"A screw, and a glass"

The maintenance guy came, and he fiddled in my kitchen sink for a few minutes. Then he held something I couldn't see from where I was sitting out in his hand and said, "A screw, and a glass." (I'm guessing he meant a piece of glass). I don't remember it happening, but I'm guessing I broke a glass in the sink or something and a piece fell in there. As for the screw--one of my loose ones must have fallen out. At least it gave me an excuse to clean the sink and under the sink (I thought that the guy might have to go under there). It turns out he didn't, so I'll put things back.
