A while ago, while Juanita was washing half a load of clothes, I heard a weird sound. I was worried that there would be a problem with the water and I would have a flood at home so I got up. Juanita was buzzing peacefully but my pressure cooker was yelling at me from the kitchen. I had forgotten so I just turned it off. Now I´ll go to the kitchen to make a sofrito (diced caramelized onions fried with garlic) to add to it. I will then add a bit of my cooked rice and blean part of it so that it gets thicker. The final touch will be some merkén (smoked ground chile peppers). Yummy! What are you having for lunch today? Or for dinner (as I knnow that in some places the main meal is dinner)?
