Killed by lightning

I bought myself a tabloid and read some news while relaxing in 7/11 store. It was actually to buy time after taking meds for anti acid. While reading I felt sad about six people who died from lightning strike. They are probably in an open field when this happened With that I'm often scared of it every time there's rain and I clean the drainage for clogs. Often you would hear lightning. I would cautiously look up. Have a nice day.

It sounds like a peaceful way to pass the time while waiting for your meds to kick in. Lightning can be a powerful and frightening force of nature, especially when you're out in the open. It's understandable to feel cautious when you hear thunder. I hope the rest of your day goes well!

If there are no buildings or trees around in an open area, be sure to squat down, keep your legs close, hold your body tightly against your knees, and hold your legs with both hands. Especially, lower your head, the lower the better, which can reduce the probability of being struck by lightning.Be sure to turn off electronic devices, such as mobile phones, computers, etc

Good advice, but I feel if lightning's out to get you, it will, no matter what you do.

We had thunder here yesterday before the rain, but I didn't see any lightning.
