Well, George surprises me a little bit everyday. For the longest time, any form of personal hygien has been an exercises in patience. In the time we've been home from the hospital, he's only showered once. We've been home six months. Occassionally I've seen him make an effort to trim his nails or trim his berd, but today.... he brushed his teeth. Something he hasn't done since before his stroke, over eight months ago now. Everytime I see the smallest bit of progress, I am over the moon.
