Finished book #18 for the GoodReads challenge, and I'm glad.
I don't normally read horror stories, and there were ten short ones in this book that I never should have gotten from Online Book Club.
The first story starts with nothing to do with the mall, then later goes on to it after the mall has been built.
The subtitle says the stories are "interconnected", but there's only one story that slightly connects with the first. One of the stories' main parts doesn't take place in the mall at all, but the story starts there. The last story takes place in the building that used to be the mall.
As for the "horror" aspect--I don't like "horror", and was a bit concerned about the stories being overly gross--they weren't. The last story just made me think:
"Wha-at???"
Not a book I'd recommend--to readers of horror or otherwise.
This is definitely the last book I will ever get from Online Book Club.

Yeah, and I got another notch on my "GoodReads" belt, at least.

I didn't think it was--and from the ratings it's gotten, I guess I wasn't the only one who thought so.

Congratulations on finishing book #18! It sounds like you had quite the adventure with this one, even if it wasn't exactly what you expected. Here's to finding better reads in the future, ones that won't leave you saying "Wha-at???" at the end!
