Healthy living is one of the most important things now than it has been earlier. With lot of healthy and non-healthy options these days, it is important to lead a quality life. For now, I am trying to add exercise and portion control into my life. So far, the outcomes are yet to see and it is long journey. I have cut down on my non-healthy options and hope things get better. So, what changes have you made to live a healthier lifestyle?

I have changed my diet. I take lot of fruits, especially in summer to keep me hydrated and my gut clear. I have minimized the intake of red dried chillies and take spices in moderation. My intake is less though I eat four times a day.

Those are great tips. Increase of fruit intake and avoiding spicy food. Portion Control as well. Thanks for sharing!

I am eating less sugary foods and doing more walking around the home since I want to lose weight to avoid winding up being on a wheelchair.

That is a wonderful move. Sugary food adds calories and by walking and exercising you are doing good to the joints. Thanks for sharing!

I am laying off the sugary soda. I have always drank a lot of water, but I needed to give up the soda too.

I have given up my soda intake. It is now very rare. It is bad for our bones and tooth as most sugary sodas contain phosphorus. Thanks for sharing!

I have decided to be happy with myself and enjoy life. I don't want to obessess over what is and isn't healthy. That doesn't do any good. Having a strong sense of self, is just as important, too.

@RevivedWarrior Not a problem. Not getting wrapped up on what others say is healthy, can help. No two people are the same. We have to do what's best for us.

I decided to buy a therapy program for myself. I need to do what it's there because it's complex and overwhelming. I hope I can make it. I am eating healthier, I want to eat less sugar.

I used to often eat in restaurants, but now most of the time I cook by myself
