Change of Plans

We had an unexpected change of plans today. Originally, we were headed to the e-bike shop for an oil change and a check-up on various parts. However, just as we were on our way, we discovered that it was high tide. Fearing the risk of rust and potential damage to my e-bike, we decided to turn back home instead. My e-bike is particularly susceptible to rust, and taking it through the water would have surely led to problems. How has your day been? Did you have to cancel any plans today?

We've learned to just take hr by hr & forget about planning cause it never goes as "PLANNED" we just go with the flow.

Sometimes going with the flow and taking things hour by hour is the best way to handle the unexpected. It keeps things less stressful.

@2ndchances24 I totally get that, Gayle. Surprises can definitely be unsettling. Taking things one step at a time helps me stay grounded when things don't go as planned.

I’m glad you didn’t risk going. And I actually did have to cancel plans; I had an appointment with a cardiologist. I don’t feel badly about that as it is unneeded. But, I had a sinus headache and migraine making it impossible to drive there.

@AmbiePam I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better, Amber! Migraines and sinus headaches can really knock you out. Take it easy and make sure to get plenty of rest.

I'm glad you didn't risk going either, Amber. It's always better to play it safe, especially with a sinus headache and a migraine. Taking care of yourself comes first. Hopefully, you can reschedule the cardiologist appointment without any trouble. How are you feeling now?

Glad to hear your day was productive, even if it was busy with laundry! Sometimes it’s the little tasks that make the day fly by.

No changing plans lately. Today we went to the grocery store and bought icecream.

That sounds like a nice, simple day, Judy! Ice cream is always a good idea. What flavor did you get?

Better to cancel some plans rather than risk your e-bike. That was a good decision. The only plan that was cancelled for today was thw mopping of the floors. My body felt heavy and I'm getting feverish. I have a feeling that I'm getting overfatigue.

Thanks, May! I'm sorry to hear you're not feeling well. It's definitely better to listen to your body and take it easy. Hope you get some rest and feel better soon. Overfatigue can really take its toll. Take care!

I too had change of plans during the weekend. Wanted to go for shopping , however since I woke up late had to rush through the pending household chores. Could finish all the chores (almost) by midnight. Moved the shopping day to tomorrow. I have also plans to wake up early to close the backlogs and pending items over weekend. Need to execite the plans to be more productive. Thanks!
