I saw a neighbor going by walking her and her roommate's dogs, so I went out to say hello. She invited me to walk with them, so I did. She said the walk was going to be short because of the heat (86 degrees F by my computer clock, now), which was fine with me. This neighbor's an older woman, the kind who speaks her mind. When she's talking about this or that I do what a good friend used to tell me; "Just smile and nod". Now I'm home, and I think I'll go read in a minute. Hope your morning/afternoon/evening is going well in your part of myLot land!

Glad you found a friend to walk with. Walking in the heat is no fun.

It sounds like you have good neighbors, and that you fit right in as one too.

Did the dogs have booties to protect their pads?

Our weather was nice after we got a inch of rain it stayed cloudy for the better part of the day, so that gave me time to get some garden work done, till it got up in afternoon & got too hot, but I tried to keep going & I know when I get too hot & get a wet towel to cool me down I KNEW I OVER did it.
