New Jersey police officer rescues 2 elderly person in a house fire

Evesham Township Police Officer Kevin Long answered an emergency call last week when an elderly couple were inside of a burning home. Officer Long was able to rescue an elderly woman who was inside the burning home safely. When the elderly woman told Officer Long that her husband who is in a wheelchair needed to be rescued, Officer Long risked his life to get inside the burning home and get the elderly man out of the house safely. I am sure that the local firefighters came to the home that was on fire and douse it quickly. The couple were taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries as well as the police officer. The cause of the fire was ruled to be an accident since the fire began in the kitchen. Link is msn.com/en-us/cri...
