In bengal hilsa or ilish is the most costly fish. It costs above Rs 1000 per kg. It is less available because other than big rivers like Ganges they dont grow elsewhere. But the fish is tasty. Even the fish is rich in omega 3 oil. Bengalies eat it the rice. Even the eggs are fried and eaten.
