For some it is for cultural reasons, for some it is religious reasons, for some it is personal preferences. Whatever the reasons are, we go have a certain preference when it comes to natural remedies for managing health issues. For example, some prefer coffee/tea to combat headaches instead of taking a painkiller. Some prefer taking rest and fast while facing minor stomach aches. They are many known natural remedies available in internet. So how often do you resort to natural remedies for managing health issues and what are they?

I am all for natural remedies and avoid medicine/medications as much as possible. I'd say it's part of my daily life - not just for heath issues, but to maintain good health as well. On top of eating particular foods, I also incorporate tai chi, yoga, and acupressure.

It makes sense at times to let the body heal itself than using the medicines especially for minor issues like headaches and stomaches. Thanks for sharing!

I started the KETO diet about 6 years ago. I also do the intermittent fasting along with it and using apple cider vinegar( raw and unfiltered with the mother). Now in the past year I have started this very healthy homemade lemonade drink 3 to 4 days a week which uses the entire lemon including the seeds and peeling. I add other healthy things to it. In the past two years I have gotten off all prescription meds, and lost just under 100 lbs. I have been studying the nutrients in real foods and have kept a lot of my eating to the healthy foods, although I do cheat sometimes. I have had to modify the KETO diet to fit my health situations and it works for me. So many medications are now being found to contain cancer-causing ingredients that I chose to take myself off my prescriptions, and I feel so much better than I did while taking those medications. I do still use over-the-counter meds like Tylenol, allergy meds, and a couple others.
