Using the office phone to try to contact my phone provider, because my Phone is not working. It has no bars, and the battery is nearly fully charged, but I cannot call or text anyone. I tried doing everything the first (or second) lady told me to, and even went back to my apartment to get the sim card "key" and my charger, and said that the next person would know when I got them, but of course when I got/called back I got some clueless guy who, like the first two ladies, I could barely understand, and I asked for a supervisor several times, and I kept being told, "Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm looking for one." and then after several more minutes of this guy twiddling his thumbs or whatever he was doing, I gave up and hung up. Before I left the office I ran into a neighbor, who said we'd "deal with this together" as she's familiar with all of my phone problems. She said I should go to AT&T and bundle a phone with my internet. Maybe I shouldn't have, but when I got home, I signed up for an entirely new phone server (not AT&T). Now I'm waiting to see if they approve my application, and do whatever comes next. My head just doesn't feel right right now. I need to not think about this phone junk for a while.
