5 July - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good afternoon from rainy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA. They said rain. It's raining. It's also breezy out there. The current temperature is 64 F. So, it's also cooler than this morning.
It's been a good quiet day.
I'm thankful for the sleep I got last night. It was going on six when I got up this morning. I had a more restless night, but it was still a good night.
I'm thankful for the work I did on In the Hands of Mighty Men. I have little more than a hundred pages to go with this first edit.
I'm thankful for spending time with you today. It's always good to know what's happening in your world.
I'm thankful I got out for a short walk before it started raining. I have half my steps. I'll get the rest inside, walking the hallways.
I'm thankful for my friend here who does so much. She's a valuable person in my life.
Okay, that's my day. Quiet. I'm getting off the computer now and will finish the movie I started yesterday and get the rest of my steps and then work on the foot cycle.

I'm about 50% better. I'm staying home from church tomorrow. It wasn't an easy decision, as I love church and being around people. I also miss my hugs. However, my coughing still leaves me breathless, and I don't want to disturb the worship.
I'm glad you'll see your husband on Sunday.

I am thankful for the good day outside with is partly cloudy outside as well the fact that a dealer on Ebay was nice enough to refund me a small amount of money since my baseball cap that I ordered last month did not arrive.

I had planned for Friday to make three doctor appointments. But I'm thankful that I only got one scheduled. A woman wasn't in office so I couldn't make one. The third one I thought was scheduled, but their computer system is messed up so I didn't get that one scheduled.

5th July is a special day for me as it's my brother's birthday. We are very close and he is a true blessing in my life. My elder brother is a big support for me
