Went to the office...

...to use their phone. I realized that I have an appointment I'd called a ride for (provided by Medi-Cal) and they had no way to contact me, as my new SIM card is not supposed to come until the day after the appointment. 
I was on hold for a while, and when I finally got to speak to someone, they said to call either them or the number of the people who will be driving me tomorrow, to make 100% sure the same company is picking me up.
So, I'll go back to the office tomorrow and make another call. 
Lord willing, everything will work out the way it's supposed to.
While I was sitting there on hold, I went to their little basket of books and picked one out to read (above). It's super short, but it's still a book I can add to my GoodReads list.

I am doing the best I can to enjoy my day working at home under a sunny afternoon with the temperature at 94 degrees F.
