Another 20 minutes...

I got another 20-minutes of walking in because I went to look at something in my purse and couldn't find it. I looked in my apartment where I thought I might have left it, and then thought I left it back at the store, so I went back to the store (there and back was the 20 minute walk), and asked the cashier in the line where I'd been and the lady at the customer service counter if anyone had found a purse, and no one had.
I went home thinking, "Hm. I'll have to cancel my cards and stuff..." then when I got home I said my "Okay, Lord, You know where it is, help me see it." prayer that I do whenever I misplace something, I took another look around--I'd put the toothpaste I bought in the bathroom, but my purse wasn't in there, so I went back to the kitchen,
where I'd put things in the refrigerator, and when I looked across at the counterspace opposite the refrigerator, there was my purse!
Thanking the Lord I didn't have to cancel all of my cards and whatnot...

I had something similar happen, I usually put my keys on a hook in the kitchen on the way to put my purse in the bedroom. That particular day I was really tired and did manage to hang my keys on the hook on the kitchen and went back to the bedroom and kind of blanked out because I needed to use the bathroom. I finished in there and went back to the living room and sat down. About a half hour later I realized I hadn't put away my purse which included getting my cell phone out of the purse. I searched and searched for it and couldn't see it. I was frantic at that point as my wallet was in it with my debit card and more. I prayed to the good Lord to show me where the purse was, and I couldn't find it. I went down to the mail boxes hoping it would be there but with the amount of traffic it wasn't likely it would still be there.
I looked anyhow, and it wasn't there, so I went home down hearted. Then as I went through the door I noticed Petey sleeping happily on the bed. I headed back to check on him, and the phone started ringing. Funny, I thought, that Petey would ring like my phone. Then I noticed that he was asleep on, of all things, my purse!!! His hind end was nestled inside the holding area and his top half was sprawled across the rest of the purse. He was purring like crazy because I have the phone set to not only ring but also vibrate when it rings. I thanked the good Lord for providing me with my purse but also a ginger tabby guard cat to protect it from possible intruders I then thanked Petey for his guarding of my purse, which woke him up and he left my purse, stretched and gratefully accepted his treats that I had grabbed to give him as a thank you for his guard duties.
Being in a smaller area than my previous home it would seem less likely that I would lose things...it's the oposite to say the least.

Yeah, this place is smaller than where I used to live too, but...
A ringing cat? Who would have thought?

I know how you feel since in my case losing my wallet is the worst feeling ever.
