Well, the day has flown by.

As it often does when races are on. I get a lot done, too so it becomes a win-win. George is kind of resting on the couch after having watched the races and Chilly is with him. I can't help but think his kidney desiese is progressing. Yesterday, I put fresh litter in the box, and when I went to clean it today, hardly anything in it. He's also been super clingy lately curled up by either George or myself. He's also lost some weight.
I knew he'd cross rainbow bridge, but I also hoped George would be more healed. He still might because this illness is slow-moving. But, after going through it with Precious it isn't an easy thing to watch.
I got the dishwasher running even though I forgot something I wanted to put in it. At least I didn't put it off again.

Hopefully, Chilly is just reacting to this hot and humid weather we are having!
Glad you got a lot done today. We pretty much took it easy today. Only finished the frame of the grow out pen, so back to that project tomorrow. I also want to paint it before we put the wire around it.

I'll keep an eye on him, but still be thankful for every day we have with him.

Does Chilly drink a lot of fresh water? I've heard this is the best remedy for kidney disease, to keep it from progressing. Is their a special food that might slow down this disease?

Chilly is on a special kidney diet. He's been on it for about a year now. He also drinks water, too. Although I'm considering looking into a wireless water foutain for him. It keeps the water fresh and floaing.

@kobesbuddy I put ice in it everyday. The bowl is metal, stainless steal I believe. By the time I get around to changing his water the next day, the water stays fairly cold.

Right now he's doing fairly well. He has bouts where he doesn't feel well, and I manage those days as best I can. It's just hard when both my guys are having a bad day.
