Why do you go to church?

I have been thinking about a proper answer to this question. I admit I am not the religious type , I dont go to church every Sunday just like any Roman Catholics do but I make it a point to pray even if Im alone and ask for guidance and forgiveness.
Im not generalizing but I know some people who claim to be religious and good and always go to church but after and when they go out its as if they never heard the word of God by the way they treat people , by how they act etc...
If you go to church what is your main reason for going? And when is the last time you go to church?

Relationship with God is more important thank religion. Going to church is one of the tradition we grew up with. People go to church with different reasons, to hear the word of God, to us some provisions, ask for healing, forgiveness and wisdom. But what matter most is your relationship with God.

I rarely go to church. If I go right after communion, I try to leave.

I get where you're coming from. Attending church can be about finding spiritual growth and community, but it's also important how we live our lives every day. As for me, I try to stay connected through personal prayer and reflection, even if I don’t make it to church every Sunday.

I rarely go to church but I enjoyed being there last time, and the time before. I've never been there alone and I don't think I ever will, I'm okay with praying or meditating on my own elsewhere. When it comes to sermons etc, there are good videos online so I got those covered too. 
I guess I'm just not a fan of most social gatherings, but I know churches are very important in some communities and masses are an important part of their daily/weekly routine.
Then some Catholics will go to church only on Easter and Christmas day.
Yeah, there are also many "bigots" out there who are very shallow and judgemental of others.

@ikonicnoona I go to worship which might seem obvious, but a lot of people have different motives.
