A slow and rainy start to the week

It's been raining a lot lately because of the typhoon that's been pulling the southwest monsoon. My girls and I have been cooped in the new apartment most of the time. I let them get lazy for now because school opens in less than 2 weeks, and it's going to be tough in the next 10 months. I've been doing the laundry every day since we came back from our US vacation. Wash and fold. Wash and fold. I've also been sorting out clothes that can be donated or handed down. I use my online time to learn new recipes that I can incorporate in my family's packed lunches. I've been watching a lot of Japanese home cooking lately. I'm going to make beef stir-fry and miso soup from scratch later for dinner. It's good to have some soup when the weather is cold and it's raining almost nonstop.
