This evening owl, Tawny Frogmouth, was on the porch looking on over our bedroom window. It was bedtime and I just finished reading a Calls to Courage Reader riveting story to my children, 7, 5,3,1. Hubby, being a hobby-photographer at heart, got a good shot of it. Everyone was quiet looking back at the owl by the window, amazed at the sight. It was summer at the time and bush fires were imminent. But Tawny's visit and his beady eyes looking at us looked like he was saying, "It's going to be alright. It's cool out here and rain is coming very soon."
