I've been having another type of scammer lately!

I answer the phone. Someone asks if I remember about having an accident in the last few years that wasn't my fault? No. Has anyone in my family had an accident? Alright. So Viv died in 2022 and she didn't drive... silly rule about blind people driving... Viv and I were only married almost 5 and a half years and we weren't that kind of married. Besides, I was in my 60s when we got married. She was in her 50s and, because of a health issue, wouldn't have been able to have a baby either. So - no kids. I start listing all the people in my family that would be covered by my insurance, which isn't my wife, don't have kids, unless you count the cats. Fine. Except... I just got one of these calls. "Hi, my name is Steve (can't be his real name) from *some sort of* auto thing." I interrupted him right there. "I haven't been in an accident." "Any member of your family?" "My cats don't drive." Andddd... he's gone! Have you been getting this scam? What do you say?
