The other day I bought some Hershey Dark Chocolate Chips. That night I opened the first bag...As soon as I opened it..it smelled too sweet. Ate a couple of morsels..YUCK! They tasted like the Semi-Sweet Chips. I thought maybe my taste buds were bad till I looked at the bag and saw that it Did Indeed say Special Dark Chocolate. Today, when I was in Publix, I bought a bag of the Dark Chocolate Chips..got home and opened the bag..Now THAT smelled like Dark Chocolate. Ate a few morsels...It was DEFINITELY Dark Chocolate. I called the phone # on the back of the bag and talked to a nice lady. I explained the whole thing, and she took a report, said she would contact Quality Control and see what the problem is. She said they would send me a coupon for the bag that did not taste right. I sure hope they get this fixed. Hoping it was just a mistake, and not that they are trying to save money...Dark Chocolate has More Chocolate in it than semi sweet or Milk Chocolate. Glad they don't charge more that the other flavors.
