What is the best deal you got ever got on something valuable?

Everything has a price . Atleast this holds true for commodities. Often we see items which has great designs and features . However the price tag could be bit expensive.
Then comes deals or luck - and we can have these items at a more affordable price. Again, if we wait for sometime, the prices do fall -especially for clothes, electronic gadgets and smartphones.
Sometimes, we also see these products or alternatives at affordable prices in thrift stores. So, what is the best deal you got ever got on something valuable?

For me was buying my computer..Could not find anything under $250...Went to Goodwill and found one with more memory than I can imagine with windows 7 and a free upgrade to windows 10 for $165. Came with bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Tom found an old Pickup truck for $200. the guy said it needed brakes, so he had it towed to the house for $50. He drove it down the street and the brakes were okay. He washed it and sold it for $2,250. It was in good shape inside and out.
