What's with the flies?

I have just been absolutely plagued by flies since I got home. Both the 'normal' sized flies and the tiny fruit type flies. I've even seen one of those giant flies that look like a normal one, just huge. And, having the flies in the house is made worse by them trying to land on my drink or my food. The drinks have been the worse, they will die without a drink just like we will. And the d*mned things once they find something they are relentless. So, I've been happy when I swat one. And, honestly, it is about all that I do, watch videos, respond to a friend who writes me. Sometimes chat on Messenger, you know, all those things you can do when you can only stand for a couple of minutes. Now, we keep a couple of lights on in the house at night so we don't trip over anything - cats, dog, dog bed... you know, those things. Things you don't want to do when you know a broken hip can be a death sentence. So, I know I don't post much on FB, but I can celebrate the death of another one of those little monsters! What do you do to celebrate the little things in your life?
