Has your daughter actually been diagnosed by a medical specialist experienced in dealing with this disorder? At her age it is normal to be very active and have a poor attention span. If she hasn't been seen by a specialist, perhaps your Doctor could organise an appointment for you. Talk to the specialist about what are the best options plus if you do a search you might find there is an organisation for this disorder near you where they can offer advice. Your daughter may still settle down but the last thing I think you should be considering at this time is putting her on any sort of medication. Good luck to the whole family. :)

I am sure it's not an easy thing to deal with. My child doesn't have it, but one of the children I used to nanny for did. I know its not easy. Best thing I can recommend is a schedule. Once I got him on a strict schedule, it seemed to help a lot.

What are her symptoms? Most 4 year olds have a poor attention span
