Last night's strange dream. (14/8/2024)

Last night I had a really strange dream, part of which is a bit vague. I was walking by the end of St Chads Church going towards Stowe Pool to cross the road and go into town, and this walkway appeared before me boarded by high wooden fencing. There were a few of these side by side, and St Chads Church and Stowe Pool had disappeared. I went into the walkway, and there was a kind of task in each but something from another walkway was coming over to try and stop us from.completing our task. It was like something was dangling down from the ceiling, but there was no ceiling. I remember it was like I was looking down on the walkways from above, and I could see what looked like tiny moons hovering over the furthest fence. (They could have been tiny alien space craft!) Then it was like the end of the walkways were overgrown with bushes and trees. There was another element to this dream that I can't really remember. It's like I have tiny flashes of memory but it doesn't come through properly. There were lights. I was doing something.... Anyway, have you had any interesting dreams lately that you can remember? I hope you are all well. Have a nice day.

It happens on a number of occasions that we see a dream and we cannot exactly see the place where we are or who the people around us are. We also cannot remember the particular day or the time of the day when dreaming. Forgetting parts of the dream when we wake up is quite normal. I don't think each one of us will be able to remember the exact sequence of our dream after waking up. Now your dream could be because of the fact that you had been to that place so you dreamt about that. Or it could be because you talked about that particular place with someone. And that's why you dreamt about it. Because psychologists say that what we think in the back of our mind is what we dream. So chances are that you might have been to that place sometime back or you might have discussed about this place with someone.

Yes. They do say, actually, that most people don't remember their dreams. I'm glad I can remember some of my dreams. Sometimes I dream about places that I've been. But sometimes I dream about places I've never been to before in my life!

@sharonelton And this is happened with me on a few occasions as well. I mean I am referring to your last sentence. That you dream about places you have never been before in your life. I have also seen such places in my life that I know I didn't ever visit. But still I don't know how I see them in my dreams. Maybe this is related to our past life. Because I have heard that we see places or we visualise those things and we dream those dreams where we have had at least one connection. Because those things don't come into our dreams just like that. I too remember a few instances of my dreams whenever I see them. But it's on only a very few occasions that I can fully remember the dream when I wake up.

@abhi_bangal I don't know why I dream about places I've never been to. And I've only had one life!

I kept dreaming about catching a bus. I couldn't remember how many tickets I needed; and we started walking towards home; and the further we walked the more people were waiting for the bus. We said we should have caught the bus at the first stop. I also was having trouble finding some underwear to put on. !!! Have a good day.

That sounds like a strange dream! I've never dreamed about catching a bus. Probably because I don't get buses in real life. When I was little I used to catch the bus with my Grandma and Grandad Brown. That was a long time ago. Thank you very much. You have a good day too.

That does sound like an interesting dream, and I would want to try to figure out the meaning. I have been on a no dream cycle as of late.
