Is it normal to sleep at 3:00 AM ?

From last few days i am sleeping very late normally 3:00 AM or more. I do work on laptop and in day time i feel tired. Is it normal or i should change my habit? Problem is that i feel more productive at night.

If you feel more productive at night there is no reason not just to add on a couple of hours more of sleep,

I am not a morning person, unless it is 1 am, 2 am or 3 am and sometimes later!! I hate mornings! Do what feels best for you. If you are more productive late at night/early morning then so for it!!

This is normal. Some people are naturally more productive at night or early evening. I'm one of them.

I'm up all night every night. If you're more productive at night, then just change your schedule. Have a good day.

The big question is whether you are gettting 7-9 hours of sleep even if you sleep late. If yes, then it is either your stress or the place needs to be more cooler during night time. Feeling productive at night is not great as our bodies are not designed in that fashion. We need sunlight -Vitamin D3 for our bones and our genes are acquainted to work more on day time. So, you may have to change habits. Besides, you may not able to complete all the tasks you set out by working late compared waking early.

I also enjoy doing my own stuffs at night since there will be less bothering things at that time. As to whether it is a normal time to sleep at 3am. It depends on when you wake up next day. If you have to wake up early next morning, then it will be too late. If not, that's alright

I did the same in the past because I couldn't sleep. Nothing bad happened. Some people work during the night and they are healthy.

I didn't use to stay awake at 3:00 AM . I can easily go to sleep right now because of rainy season.

@royaleagle Our bodies are naturally meant to rest at night, so I believe it affects health in some way.
