Flora and Fauna: What weird pets do you have?

The pet that I once wished to own was a pot belly pig. But I can't find one nearby and I now know that raising one is a bit complicated. I used to have guinea pigs, 5 of them. Two were Peruvian and they died after a few months, maybe of heat stroke. I don't have enough space, and my grandma hated them.
I also used to have a dog and his name is Muff. There were other dogs in the house before him and most of them turned into angels already because of their age. While I kind of love frogs but I'm afraid of them. I don't know why. I loved looking at them but when they start jumping, I'd go crazy. Now I got stuck with some cats, and turtles.

I have not got any pet since 2014, when Topaz, our golden retriever left us at the age of 17 years. I grew up in a house with few dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs, one parrot and three cows. My grandfather had an elephant too.

If you're in the right place, an elephant won't be that weird. It's just a thought that crossed my mind and not having a new pet after that long is one thing I do understand. I once told myself not to welcome any kind of pet in my life anymore, and still, they keep on coming. Always taking advantage of my weakness and always breaking my heart.

Talking about turtles. I watched a friend's turtle when she went on vacation. I put the turtle on the floor to walk and my cat came in the room. The turtle went into his shell. My cat walked over to the turtle and sniffed all around the turtle. As the cat was close to the turtle's head. The turtle came out of his shell. The cat jumped really high and took off running.
It was funny to watch.
