Police in Colorado rescue a kitten trapped inside of an abandoned building

The Homeless Outreach Team (HOT) of the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) answered an emergency call from businesses in the neighborhood in the North Academy Boulevard and Austin Bluffs Parkway on Tuesday of last week since there were reports of persons trespassing, doing illegal drug activity and camping. When the police came into the abandoned building, they arrested six persons on charges of trespassing on four of them and two for illegal camping as they taken into the Criminal Justice Center. The police officers did hear a cat meowing inside of the attic of the abandoned building. The police determined that a kitten was trapped inside of a wall without food and water for several days that needed to be helped. The police officers were able to tear down a section of the wall and ceiling when they found a kitten who is around eight weeks old and was close to dying of starvation. The kitten was taken by the police officers to the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region (HSPPR) to be taken care of. The good news is that the kitten is recovering and getting ready to be taken to a foster home where on the police officers wants to adopt the kitten that the police officer rescued when the female kitten who is a Calico .
