I've had this both in India and in Australia, with the cost in Australia being 10 times more than in India! It's a potato cut in a swirl while stuck into a skewer and then deep fried with salt or spices added to it. It's an interesting way to eat it and it tastes good. Have you had this?

@pitstop Oh yes. They called them ribbon fries, but were cut on a spiral and served on a plate.

I loved the taste too. It was not crispy, but had some punch.

I had the same and well I had in India. I like the spicy one compared to salted one. It is deep fried and looks interesting and tastes yummy. I have seen smaller and medium potato cuts in the swirl and well the fresh ones are so tasty. Most of the bakeries and small food stores are having the same and does not cost much. I was not aware it is expensive in Australia. I too agree it is an interesting way to eat the same. Good for munching and great for snack time. After seeing your post, love to try one now!
