What a good day.

Well, it's one in the morning and I'm about to give George his final tube feed of the night. I just got him stiring and expect to have it done a little after 2. Not ideal, but he surprised me by asking me to make him some hotdogs. Yesterday it was just tube feeds, today we had hotdogs. So, I'm thankful for that at least. Anything he'll eat, I'll take. If he wants his tube out, he knows he has to want to eat. And, it's not a process that can be rushed. It's slow-going and a process all the same. One I happily embrace.

It will be good to have his tube out. I had a foster girl for two months that was six months old and had to be tube fed.
She would not suck and I always thought that was natural. I hope she learned to eat after her mother got her back.

People have tubes for different reasons. If George starts to crave food more, it'll be a lot easier to get it out.

Yay, one step in the right direction hot dogs, Sure hope those tube feeds can be a thing of the past in the near future,

I'm not rushing it. I like knowing he's getting enough to eat, and won't loose too much weight. But, then I want him to live.
