I looked at my weather app this morning and it said 14% chance of rain, and it did look cloudy out and it was windy, so I thought I'd wear my grey coat without the hood, so I'd be warm, but risk it as regards the rain. Just before I went out I went upstairs to tell Syd I was going. He didn't hear me going up the stairs, what with being deaf n'all, so when he saw me standing in the doorway I made him jump! I went out, and I was right to wear my grey coat, because I would have been cold otherwise. I got to the shop, and I went in. I didn't have a shopping list, but I got the usual stuff. 2 TV magazines first, then a custard tart thing for Syd. One from the fresh bakery section. Then I got Syd's bounty bar. I got myself 1 banana again for my lunch. I'll get more organic ones again tomorrow. Then I got some strawberries again, although as it seems I'm the only one who's eating them I think I might not have needed to bother. Then I got myself another notebook. I'll easily find a use for it. Lastly I got 2 more bottles of milk. And then I went to pay. It came to just over £12. The lady asked me if I wanted the receipt and I said, No thank you. Then I set off for home. Just as I was about to cross the crossing I saw this great big road sweeper truck coming! But it stopped to let me cross over. Those things are really noisy! As I was coming down my street, I felt a spit of rain on my head! I couldn't be bothered going any faster, so I continued at the same pace, but I didn't feel anymore spots of rain. The sun was hidden behind the clouds, and it was quite breezy, but I didn't feel anymore spots of rain, so that was good. When I got in I unpacked the groceries and put them away. Then I went to the toilet, and then I came and sat down to watch the telly. Now Homes Under the Hammer is about to start, so I gotto go. What are you lot getting up to today? I hope you are well.
