In Krishna Janmashtami lovely designs are made with rice husk / myLot

In the Hindu festival of Krishna Janmashtami, lovely designs are made out of rice husk. It is white in colour. In bengali it is called alpona. On the day of the event the houses are cleaned and the idol of Lord Krishna is worshipped with flowers and fruits. It is a sacred festival.
