Heavenly Birthday in Heaven

Gosh! I almost forgot that it is my old man's birthday today. My nieces' mother mentioned it this morning. So, I managed to light some candles in front of our house and silently offered a prayer for him. It is a family tradition to remember the dead. Unfortunately, I do not have enough time to prepare his favorite food.
Do you do special things for your dead ones' birthdays?

We do the same. We offer prayers, make their favourite food and offer it to God. On my grandfather's birthday, I make his favourite food for all the 35 old people staying in this Old Age Home close to my home.

@Shavkat It comes suddenly as a shock, but then there is a silver lining that they didn't suffer much. 70 is also not too old. In fact parents are never too old to die.

@Shavkat Hmm...I can understand and relate to that feeling. I would love to live a long life, I plan to hit the century. But I would like it to be healthy and independent.
