EMS crews rescue a person and a dog trapped in a stalled elevator

A female patient who was ill was trapped inside of an elevator in what appears to be a hospital in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania on Monday afternoon. Employees of the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) did their duty to work on first evacuate the female patient from inside the elevator before they were able to successfully rescue the dog from inside the elevator safely. I guess the patient must have visionary problems and the dog was her seeing eye guide.

I'm glad the patient and the dog were successfully rescued. Maybe the dog was a Support Dog.
