What do you think of Blind Dates?

I don't think blind dates are a waste of time. Even if it is not a great date, it teaches one things they need to know. Have you ever realized that most do not know what they do want but one can definitely know what they don't want? We learn these things from experience. So I do not see blind dates that don't work out as a waste of time. Are they risky? Sure, there are many things that are risky in life. You truly do not know if the person that you are going on a blind date on with is a serial killer stalking one's next prey! But you must keep a level head and get to know the person before setting yourself in that situation of being vulnerable. Do the work? I am sure that there are some out there that work. You hear stories about a friend setting someone up and they turned around and go married. But even if the relationship/date does not work out, it worked to help you get that much closer to finding what it is that you truly want.
