Is reading for leisure more beneficial than reading for knowledge?

Reading helps in broadening the horizons of the mins. It improves creativity, critical thinking. Reading is an essential habit for intellectual development and for personal growth. Reading for knowledge is a powerful way for learning. It provides insights and valuable information that helps in overall development of the mind. It is a powerful tool when it comes to academic success. Reading for leisure on other hand helps in reducing stress and relaxing the mind. It aids creative thinking and helps in understanding the different emotions. It promotes mental health and emotional well-being. So, which has been more beneficial for you: reading for leisure or reading for knowledge?

For me its not about what's more beneficial. I just go for what I feel reading depending on my mood and what I need at the moment - sometimes it's about gaining new insights and learning, and other times you just want an escape with a good story for leisure.
