In bengal there is a popular dish called oal chingri. Oal means yam. It grows as a root. Chingri means prawns. The curry has yam cut into small pieces and mixed with potatoes. The prawns are boiled and then the spice for the food is given. It is delicious and is eaten with both rice and chapatis.
